The Daybreak Pool:

The Daybreak Staff wish you a safe and enjoyable time. The following pool information is provided for your safery and health. Most of the rules are imposed by the county health department. Please follow them.

BASIC INFORMATION:

Pool size is 25 X 50

Pool depth is 3 to 6

Pool will support 50 swimmers at one time

One certified lifeguard will be required for every 25 swimmers, or

Two certified lifeguards will be required for every 50 swimmers

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

NO DIVING POOL. (NO HEAD FIRST DIVING OF ANY KIND INTO THE POOL. THIS INCLUDES DIVING FROM THE SIDE OF THE POOL.)

RUNNING IN THE POOL AREA IS NOT PERMITTED
DRINKS OR FOOD OF ANY KIND IN THE POOL AREA ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA
SWIM WEAR:
  • GIRLS: MODEST ONE PIECE SWIM SUITS

  • BOYS: BOARD SWIM SHORTS (NO CUTOFFS)

INFLATABLES:

NO JUMPING FROM OR STANDING ON ANYINFLATABLE DEVICE.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • CHILDREN WHO ARE NOT TOILET TRAINED MUST NOT SWIM

  • INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING FROM ANY DIARRHEA TYPE ILLNESS WITHIN THE PAST TWO WEEKS MUST NOT SWIM

  • INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING FROM ANY COMMUNICABLE DISEASE MUST NOT USE THE POOL.

LIFE GUARDS:

Daybreak does not provide life guards. If you need help finding a lifegurard call us. We usually have the life guards in the area that are willing to work with our guest. Your life guards must come to the Daybreak office so we can get a copy of their current life guard certificate and advanced CPR certificate. These copies will be kept in your Daybreak file.

HOURS OF OPERATION: 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM daily.

SWIMMING HOURS CAN BE ARRANGED BY ONE OF TWO WAYS

1. Calling (831-335-2756) before arrival, (preferred) OR

2. Upon arrival for your camp session come to the office to schedule.

CONTACT PERSON

Your group will be required to have a contact person that will be responsible to Daybreak. This person will work in tandem with the Daybreak staff to provide a safe environment for swimming. This person will convey all information about the pool to the guest group. For your information:

CLOSURE OF SWIMMING POOL DUE TO A FECAL ACCIDENT. CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS, Title 22, Chapter 20, Article 3, Section 65545 states

states this procedure in the event of a fecal contamination:

Pool shall be closed immediately. All swimmers exit the pool immediately. Pool will be closed for a minimum of 24-48 hours to implement the procedures necessary to maintain safety.
