Bridge the Gap

Donations to “Bridge the Gap” are used to pay the remaining debt (principle) on the Felton Meadows property. In 2000, Daybreak faced a tremendous opportunity when the adjacent 120 acre property, Felton meadows went up for sale.

Developers were anxious to purchase the land for investment and development opportunities that would have destroyed the natural buffer and tranquil environment that surrounds the camp. Daybreaks leaders and supporters saw the need to protect this space and look ahead at what could be done to expand the camp’s ministry with an additional 120 acres. The camp’s supporters banded together to raise the funds needed for the purchase.

Daybreak Camp Debt Reduction

Felton Meadows was purchased for $3,586,000 in 2000. Although funds were originally for the full amount, the economic downturn shortly there after lead to a $1,965,000 loan to complete the purchase of which $1,507,000 has been repaid, leaving a balance still held by note holders of $458,000.

Help make an impact!

I have picked three organizations that I believe are expanding God’s Kingdom and giving people a loving, accurate experience of Jesus Christ. Daybreak Camp is one of those organizations.”
